Comments: (Transcribed form handwritten notes on 8/09/99) Photos taken on Monday June 13, 1994. Location: Sandy Hook National Park. Car is registered to a Dante Hicks, one of the boys missing. We received an anonymous tip regarding a car reportedly driven by Dante. The car shows signs of being broken into. There is no evidence that would suggest the boys were in the car when it was broken into. Believe that the car was broken into after the boys abandoned it. WHY DID THEY LEAVE IT? Reports from family give a list of items that should be in there. Go over list and see what was in car and what wasn't. CAMPING GEAR? See to it that these pictures are not seen by the family. THEY SUGGEST DEATH. We don't want to alarm anyone.
