Local Pair Missing

Authorities Fear Foul Play Involved.

(Red Bank, NJ) Trishia Jones-A pair of local boys have been missing since for a week, and the intense search has turned up few leads. "We, know where they were last seen and we think we know where they were headed, the answer lies somewhere in between here and there lies our answer" said Red Bank deputy Sheriff Tom Bruce. The pair, Dante Hicks and Randall Graves, were reported missing Friday evening by Dante's girlfriend Veronica.

As of Saturday a massive investigation had turned up only two people, reportedly the last two to have seen the pair alive. "We learned that (Dante and Randal) came in contact with two gentlemen who are simply known as Jay and Silent Bob. We brought these two in for questioning and then they were released" Chief Investigator Buck Buchanon. Police have not released what information, if any, had been given by the Red Bank residents believed to have seen the missing pair a week ago Thursday night. Jay, asked about the questioning as he was leaving the Red Bank Sheriff's Department on Saturday, said "(expletive deleted) cops harassed us. (expletive deleted) we got rights to. Hey is this going to be in the paper, I love you ladies".

Other than the possible encounter with Jay and Silent Bob, Dante and Randall were, last seen Thursday afternoon at their place of employment. Dante was an employee of the Quick Stop Grocery store in Leonardo, New Jersey. Randall was employed at the RST Video Store across the street form the grocery store Dante worked at. Families of the missing, declined comment yet a statement released by a friend of both families read: "We appreciate the outpouring of support that we have received. Obviously we are under the assumption that Dante and Randall are merely lost and still alive, we continue to have this hope and will not let go of it until we find conclusive evidence otherwise. We encourage anyone with any evidence to turn it over immediately to the authorities. We have complete confidence that we will find our sons, brothers and loved ones."

The search is centered around the Sandy Hook national park; the park was a favorite spot of the two boys. It is believed they went there camping. When asked about what leads or evidence the police have found, Chief Investigator Buck Buchanon stated " We are holding on to certain pieces ourselves. We have information that leads us to believe that it is in the best interest of the investigation to keep some things confidential." When asked if there were any plans to make any evidence public, Buchanon said, "When we are ready we will do what we feel is necessary".

Disappearance Still Puzzles Authorities

Police Release New Evidence.

(Red Bank, NJ) Brandi Svenning - The investigation of two Red Bank residents continues to baffle authorities. "It is impossible for two people to vanish off the face of the earth, but that seems to be what happened" commented Buch Buchanon during a statement to the press when asked if there were any solid leads. "We have just one thing to go by, and that is a car registered to Dante Hicks" Buchanon said. Dante Hicks is one of two local residents missing in the woods around the Sandy Hook National Park. Authorities believe that Dante drove both he and Randal Graves to the park to go camping. The pair have been missing since Thursday June 11, 1994. Authorities have found no evidence that the boys were ever in the park except for the remnants of Dante's car. Police released photos showing that the car has been broken into.

"We know these pictures are hard to look at. We feel for the families right now. We released them on hopes someone might remember seeing anyone around this car. If we get any witnesses to who did (damage to the car) we might get our first lead on the boys." Buch Buchanon Chief Investigator.

As the search intensifies the hope that finding the two boys alive diminishes. "We look and look and find nothing, it really makes us scratch our heads." Buch Buchanon.
